Privacy Notice

RouxLub, in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), issues this Privacy Notice, given that it receives and keeps personal data of its customers, employees and suppliers — handling it in a legitimate, controlled and informed manner that guarantees their privacy rights and the appropriate use of such data for the manufacture and distribution of petrochemical specialties (lubricants), procedures before public authorities and institutions such as IMSS and Infonavit, administrative procedures for contracting employees and suppliers, payroll and commissions, account-balance control, resource administration, contact and communication with customers and suppliers, quotes, invoicing, price changes, order status, and the internal control of the activities required for our industrial and commercial activity.
I. Identification of the controller and processing of your personal data
Pursuant to Article 17, section II of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, we inform you that RouxLub (the “Controller”) will process the personal data it collects from you under the terms of this Privacy Notice.
II. Purposes
Processing will be carried out for the following purposes:
a) Necessary for the legal relationship with the Controller: to obtain the information needed from customers, employees and suppliers to maintain the labor, commercial and industrial relationship for the manufacture and distribution of petrochemical specialties (lubricants); to keep communication by email and telephone; invoicing, price changes; procedures before IMSS and Infonavit; and the contracting and subcontracting of suppliers and employees. The personal data requested includes:
- Customers: full name; address; telephone; email; RFC; articles of incorporation (legal entities); voter ID of the individual or legal representative; proof of address; banking data (account number, CLABE, bank); credit application; among others.
- Suppliers: RFC; full name; address; telephone; email; voter ID of the individual or legal representative; proof of address; banking data; among others.
- Employees: police clearance; voter ID; CURP; Infonavit withholding letter (if applicable); birth certificate; proof of address; reference letter; job application or résumé; among others.
b) Other: to carry out transfers of your personal data to third parties under the terms of this Notice. The following data may be processed: name, surnames, address, telephone, email, RFC, CURP, and banking data such as account number and CLABE, among others.
III. Options to limit the use or disclosure of your data
The Controller has designated a personal-data officer (the “Privacy Officer”). You may therefore limit the use or disclosure of your personal data in person before the Controller, at the company address indicated above.
IV. Means to revoke consent
You may revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data in the same manner in which you granted it. If, after revocation, you request confirmation of it, the Controller will respond to you expressly.
V. Means to exercise your ARCO rights
You have the right to (i) access your personal data in our possession and know the details of its processing; (ii) rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete; (iii) cancel it when you consider it is not required for any of the stated purposes, is being used for non-consented purposes, or the relationship has ended; or (iv) object to its processing for specific purposes (the “ARCO Rights”).
To exercise your ARCO Rights, you must submit a request to the Controller, attention of the Privacy Officer, accompanied by: (a) your name, address and email; (b) a copy of documents proving your identity or legal representation; (c) a clear description of the data concerned; (d) any document that facilitates locating your data; and (e) for rectifications, the changes to be made and supporting documentation.
The Privacy Officer will respond within a maximum of 20 business days; approved changes will be made within 15 business days. Exercising ARCO Rights is free of charge, except for justified shipping or reproduction costs.
VI. Changes to this Privacy Notice
The Controller reserves the right to make modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice at any time. Any modification will be made known to you by publishing a notice on the Controller’s website, so we recommend reviewing it frequently.
In the event of a security breach at any stage of processing that significantly affects your rights, the Privacy Officer will notify you immediately by email so you can take the appropriate measures.
VII. Images, video and photographs
Employees and visitors are recorded by cameras throughout their stay at RouxLub’s premises, for purposes such as the safety of everyone present and the care and surveillance of the company’s materials, products and assets. All content captured on the premises is the exclusive property of RouxLub and is reviewed periodically.
VIII. Consent
I give my consent to the processing of my personal data for the purposes necessary for the legal relationship with the Controller. (Refusing the processing of your personal data will make it impossible to establish a legal relationship with the Controller.)
